200hr vinyasa yoga teacher training

with Nico Luce & Sofia Dubois

A journey into movement, awareness, and the art of teaching — set in the wild beauty of the Portuguese coastline.

This 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified (RYS 200) teacher training, co-led by Nico and Sofia, is a complete and immersive experience designed to deepen your practice and prepare you to teach with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

Set in the unspoiled southwest Algarve, this training unfolds in a landscape where nature remains raw and expansive — vast ocean views, golden cliffs, and quiet beaches. Surrounded by 12 hectares of wild land, just minutes from the sea, the space invites a return to simplicity, presence, and connection.

This is more than a training.
It is an experience of embodiment, intuition, and transformation.

A Living Practice

At the heart of this training is a simple yet profound invitation:

To move.
To listen.
To trust.

Drawing from both structured methodology and intuitive exploration, the training integrates Nico’s precise, anatomy-based approach to teaching with Sofia’s emphasis on flow, creativity, and embodied intelligence.

You will learn not only how to teach yoga, but how to inhabit the practice fully, allowing your teaching to emerge from direct experience.

What You Will Learn

This training offers a comprehensive and progressive curriculum across all core areas of yoga education:

• Anatomy & Physiology — functional understanding of the body in movement
• Asana & Sequencing — intelligent, creative, and safe class design
• Teaching Methodology — clear communication, cueing, and presence
• Pranayama & Meditation — breath, awareness, and nervous system regulation
• History & Philosophy — foundations of yoga and its evolution
• Sanskrit, Mantra & Subtle Body — language, vibration, and energetics
• Energetics & Intuition — bridging structure with felt experience
• Ethics & The Business of Yoga — stepping into teaching with integrity

Through daily Asana Labs and Practice Teaching, you will develop the skills to:

• observe bodies with accuracy
• guide students safely and effectively
• adapt to different levels and needs
• communicate with clarity and confidence
• create meaningful, well-structured classes

The Teaching Approach

This training balances discipline and flow.

Mornings are rooted in dynamic Vinyasa practice, awakening energy and building strength.
Afternoons and evenings explore anatomy, philosophy, and teaching skills, grounding your understanding and allowing integration.

Inspired by the philosophy of Go With The Flow, you will explore:

• moving beyond performance into presence
• allowing the body to guide the practice
• building confidence through experience, not force
• discovering your authentic voice as a teacher

Here, we don’t chase perfection.
We cultivate awareness, curiosity, and trust.

The Location — Algarve, Portugal

The training takes place in a spacious villa nestled within 12 hectares of protected nature, just a short walk from the ocean.

This region of the Algarve is one of the last truly preserved coastal areas in Europe — a place where nature still feels raw, powerful, and expansive:

* wild cliffs and endless beaches

* turquoise waters and golden rock formations

* quiet fishing villages nearby

* a natural rhythm that invites slowing down

The property features:

* a shaded yoga shala

* multiple terraces and open spaces

* a swimming pool

* direct access to nature and walking paths

This environment becomes an essential part of the training — supporting clarity, grounding, and inspiration.

Beyond the Training — Your Free Time

This part of the Algarve is not only a place to train — it’s a place to live, explore, and breathe.

During your free time, you will have the opportunity to experience a region rich in nature, movement, and beauty:

* Surf culture & iconic beaches — The southwest coast is known worldwide for its wild surf spots, including Amado, Cordoama, and Carrapateira, as well as the dramatic cliffs of Sagres.

* Nature & walks — Endless coastal trails and preserved landscapes invite long walks, grounding, and reconnection.

* Proximity to Lagos — Just 20 minutes away, Lagos offers a vibrant atmosphere, cafés, and a charming old town to explore.

* Ocean life — The region is known for the possibility of spotting dolphins and whales out at sea.

* Horse riding & outdoor activities — Experience the landscape from a different perspective, riding through nature or along the beach.

* Breathtaking sunsets — Some of the most stunning sunsets in Europe, where the sky meets the ocean in unforgettable colors.

And simply… space to rest, integrate, journal, or do nothing at all.

Nourishment

Food is an essential part of the experience.

You will enjoy a gourmet Mediterranean cuisine, prepared daily with fresh, local ingredients:

* nourishing, seasonal meals

* a balance of flavor and lightness

* vegetarian options available

Meals are designed to support your energy, your practice, and your overall well-being throughout the training.

Language & Accessibility

This training is designed to be accessible to an international community.

• The training will be taught in English and French
• Sofia’s native language is French
• Nico and Sofia are both fluent in Spanish

This allows us to support students across multiple languages and ensure that language is not a barrier to learning.

The training manual will be provided in English, and can also be made available in French upon request.

The Experience

Beyond the curriculum, this training is an invitation to:

• reconnect with your body and intuition
• build confidence through embodied practice
• explore creativity in movement and teaching
• develop meaningful connections within a group
• step into your role as a teacher with authenticity

Group size is intentionally limited to 14 students, allowing for personal attention, depth of learning, and a strong sense of community.

It is a space to learn, unlearn, and evolve.
